So i spent today alone pretty much. It was refreshing and oh so boring at the same time. Went to the new skatepark in windsor, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Then I got stuck in rain.... BAD RAIN. Sat at the mall for an hour and ate sonic because they are the only place that accepts checks =/ ... Nothing much else happened today.

Yeah so yesterday was ok... not much happened. Larry and I hit up Statesboro, got a few cd's , went to Deloach's. That's about the extent of it.

Yeah so I have school in like 20 minutes. Anyways, quick update about the weekend...
Friday night - worked and did nothing really.
Saturday morning - the beach with D-wok, Mikey, Charles & Meghan his girlfriend, John and Meg, and Tony =) Very good times.
Sunday - Saw Troy with ol' Lance. That was an extremely awesome movie regardless of the reviews of tasteless critics. Bastards they are.
So... I've had an enjoyable weekend.
Now I have one last week of hell in summer school. Put me on your prayers list that I pass. <3

So I woke up this morning after a halfway-horrible week, and decided I wasn't going to school. I didn't feel like getting kicked out for kicking some ignorant idiots ass. So I slept until about 10:30 then I went and got my work from school and brought it home. Corey and I went to the huddle house, which is like a ritual whenever we are skipping, even if it is summer school. I stayed up too late last night practicing the new CTS song anyways. It's so great to know that we aren't just another crappy band like most of the other crackheads around here. When I got back from the ol' huddle house I picked up my guitar and I practiced for a good 2 hours... came on here for a little bit, then practiced for 2 more hours. I want to be excellent at guitar.. and I'm getting there. But I don't think struggling for excellence is enough. You have to struggle for perfection. Though you may never reach perfection, at least you can get close. I've sworn off TV before 9 o clock when I'm at home. Everytime I want to watch TV I pick up a guitar instead. You'd be surprised how much more practice time you get in.
In other news, I have no date this weekend. So hopefully I can just work Friday night... go to the beach saturday morning with the D-wok... work saturday night. Make a crap load of money. It's all good. Dates come and go, but my heart stays in the same position. Never fails to get me down even when I promise myself I won't let it happen.
And if you are reading this I only have one thing to say to you.
I'm waiting.

In other news.... I got to hang out with Caitlin and her family for about an hour before kate's sisters wedding.. while the wedding continued I went to Lances house and we jammed for a little bit. Following that I went to the church and picked up Caitlin and we came back to my house, where my Grandma was of course elated to see her. We just laid around for a couple of hours and watched a movie until it was time for me to take her back to the hotel... I can't believe how she hasn't changed at all. Besides just getting more beautiful. She's still one of my best friends in the world, just like she always has been. We had some really crazy discussions during the car rides. So many crazy old memories. But who knows, sometimes things are best left the way they are. Even if it is 2 1/2 hours apart. I've still got plenty of people who love me here too...
Hopefully Dusty hasn't forgotten we are supposed to get together tomorrow... well...today. It is effing 3:30 in the morning.
And hopefully I'll get to chill with Britt soon.
So many things to do... so little time. GAHHH. Sleep is for weaklings.
Screw it. I'm human. Therefore I am weak :)

So I'm not too angry about As I lay Dying, I didn't think they were playing anyways. I am pissed about Anatomy of a Ghost breaking up, and especially pissed about The Beautiful Mistake going seperate ways. They just came out with a hot record, all over TV and everything. What a waste.
Going to summer school now.

So the core of the BTYC hit up Jacksonville Florida tonight for an Every Time I Die / Evergreen Terrace / Armchair Patriot / The Kinison / By Hostage (or something.) show.
I was so stoked to see The Kinison. They suck ass live. Period.... They dissapointed me, I no longer support them and I will only listen to A new way to dance from now on. Screw you for making me believe in you guys and look like an idiot.
By Hostage did there best but the backup vocalist was 20 and going through puberty so he was screwing everything up. Good beats, sucky style.
Then there was Armchair Patriot. They were mediocre, and I kind of liked them... until i thought the songs were 9 minutes long - because they all sounded the same.
DO I EVEN HAVE TO TELL YOU THE NEXT PART?!
Evergreen Terrace and Every Time I Die tore the effing house DOWN. It was at least 150 degrees in the pit and I was in it the entire time... One dose of crowd surfing, one dose of stage diving, add a foot to the face... and i was ready to throw up and pass out and everything in between. I still managed to stay in the middle of the sardine packed room and sing every song.
I would like to thank Derek for getting me up to crowd surf for my first time. Right up until a big guy flipped me head over heels, and my stomache landed on someones head, that was my breaking point. I threw up a whole bottle of water, got up and went straight back to the stage and got my dive in. What a kick ass night...
Then Keith (lead singer of ETID) came over to the bar where we were during the Evergreen Terrace set and he took a picture with me. Shortly after, this guy we dubbed "Big Red" who went crazy at a Dorsia show in Savannah once walks up to the bar. Danny and I got a picture with him too... what a night.
One of my favorite highlights though, Evergreen Terrace played Sunday Bloody Sunday, which always moves the whole room. Everyone knows the words, everyone sings, it changes the atmosphere for a few minutes. Then back to chaos with No Donnie, these men are nihilists. Yeah, it was an amazing show.

That's kind of crazy. I checked my journal entry count today, and it was 200 on the dot. Happy 200th post for me, and this journal hasn't even got me nearly kicked out of school! Rock on.
Work was kind of bland tonight, I taught Ryan the basics and gave him hell 'til he turned red and flustered. Then I felt bad for him... I guess he really needs the job. So as long as he works hard it's all dandy. I work with Mike for the first time tomorrow... I miss my buddy since he moved, it's like losing a brother or something. So now we work together :P
I'm tired of people trying to change the world with an lj. Just thought I'd share that.
Last day of school.... it should be a day of mixed emotions, good times, laughter, and raising middle fingers high as we leave the parking lot one last time until next year.
So the ETID, EvergreenTerrace, Kinison show is coming up this week... super excited about that shit. I really want to see The Kinison, they have a crazy style. I've already seen Evergreen Terrace and ETID. But it's all good. They are both better live than on cd anyways. Got a great voicemail from Danny tonight, he got the tickets in. "HEY HEY HEY what's up...this is danny. Just thought I'd tell you I got the tickets in today. You can swing by and get them or I can give them to you the day of the show. Either one. Ok, just called to tell you I got the tickets in today. Talk to you later man. Bye."
I was happy... I figured ticketmaster was going to screw us or something. But it's all gravy.
I'm going to bed and stuff.
